	ST. MARTIN ISLAND BEACHES The Beaches/Les Plages BAIE AUX PRUNES: This Beach, Well known to surfers, is very little visited, although beautiful. It may be accessed by the road of "Falaise des Oiseaux". BAIE ROUGE: Close to Marigot and with an easy access, this beach is surrounded by a beautiful setting, with a small creek, more intimate, located below the cliffs on the east side of the bay. CUPECOY: This very beautiful and natural beach, very popular and a meeting spot for naturalists, is located below the ocre cliff. FRIAR'S BAY: The beach, well protected from the swells is, during the day, an ideal beach for families. The beach restaurants organize theme nights, Barbecues…. Not to be missed, especially on the night of the full moon. HAPPY BAY: Reached via an easy footpath, this dreamlike beach has been rather unknown until now. DAWN BEACH: Super beach with fine sand facing St. Barth. Ideal for snorkeling. MAHO BAY: This beach, at the end of the International Juliana Airport, assures those who love a thrill, plenty of chills when the large commercial flights land. MULLET BAY: A large white sand beach, located along the Sint-Maarten golf course with many "Lolos" on the left side of the beach. ORIENT BAY: This Bay, consisting of several beaches, is very popular with its numerous restaurants along the beach, and a panoply of water sport activities and boutiques. A part of the beach is reserved to naturalists. GUANA BAY: Access from behind the large Philipsburg Salt Pond. Beautiful deserted beach ideal for body surfing. No facilities on beach. ILET PINEL: Paradise-like sand point on a small island facing Saint Martin. By taxi-boat from the bay of French Cul de Sac. Two nice restaurants. SIMPSON BAY: Simpson Bay is a large and lovely white sand beach, but frequented only by few. It is located behind the Juliana airport and spreads from the Indiana Beach to Beacon Hill. This is well worth the virąt for amateurs of beautiful, deserted beaches. Access either from the Mary's Boon Road or from behind the Pizza Hut. GRAND CASE BEACH: Grand case beach has wonderfully calm waters perfect for families. If you go the Grand Case Beach Club you can have breakfast or lunch at Sunset Café and afterwards stroll down to the beach for a wonderful day of fun in the sun at this lovely beach.
